Tour Wrap Up: KING by Tory Richards

Maine Silver Foxes, Book 1

Contemporary Romance

Date Published:11-18-2024

King and Mia’s story…

King and Mia aren't strangers. Everyone knows everyone in the small Maine town they live in. However, their age difference kept them from traveling in the same circle when they were growing up. Brief glimpses and encounters, a long look, and the attraction between them were palpable but never acted on because of their marital statuses.

Twenty years have gone by, and this is the first time they are both single at the same time. That freedom allows them to pursue and act on their insane attraction, and nothing holds them back.

It's instant. It's hot. And it changes everything.

Tour Wrap Up: A Reckoning of Souls by Harrison Edwards

Sci-Fi / Fantasy

Date Published: 09-18-2024

Publisher: Bright Communications

WOULD YOU SACRIFICE AN ENTIRE CITY TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE?

A massive explosion rips through the outdoor seating area of a popular restaurant in downtown Trondheim. Two days later, fourteen people are found dead in a church along a remote section of coastline. The souls of the victims have been ripped from their bodies. Moments later a spirit from the Otherworlds steps through the Black Void to find the ancient relic that killed them.

On a secluded island in the Arctic Circle, a troubled man sees a world that has lost its way and feels compelled to change that. He plans to wield the formidable power of a mysterious artifact to reshape the moral fabric of eight billion unsuspecting souls—knowing that his actions will wipe out the inhabitants of an entire city.

David Skye and Jade “Epiphany” Hendrix set out to stop him and save the lives that would be lost if he were to succeed. Their efforts to do that are complicated by Kari Salversen, a dedicated police detective with the Norwegian Police Service. She believes David and Epiphany are involved in a recent string of deadly attacks and is determined to apprehend them.

A reckoning of souls is quickly approaching, as the battle for humanity unfolds in the snowy, arctic fjords of Norway, and the vast spirit realms of the Otherworlds. The possibility of a peaceful future for billions of souls and the lives of tens of thousands of innocent people are both at stake. In a clash that pits two opposing sides against each other, which one is on the more righteous path?

About the Author

Amy Buchanan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Northern California providing Christian Counseling to women. Through consulting, Amy is able to provide non-therapeutic care, strategy, and insights that have proven successful with women, couples, and other medical professionals.

After graduating in 2006 with a Masters in Social Work, Amy began working with older youth and supporting families through Child Protective Services. She has worked with inmates in CDCR institutions in Northern California. From there, she was able to serve her community as a clinical social worker within her local hospital. There, Amy was able to assist the overwhelmed caretakers who had limited resources. Today she loves providing support to women and couples that need to reconcile themselves back to God, to themselves, and to their families.

Amy’s life message, that she feels is needed for women at this time, is LOVE YOURSELF as much as you love others! This important Kingdom principal can be overlooked within church culture and even in the culture of family. As women, we tend to nurture and think of others first, but there must be a balance—a guilt- and shame-free balance.

Having raised five children, two are children of love through her marriage of 29 years. Much personal experience has been gained to offer support to couples with blended families. Amy currently has three grandchildren with one more on the way. She enjoys spending time with God, her family, and friends, and she loves being outdoors and in nature as her schedule allows. Tour Wrap Up: The Stars Rain Down by Glenn Thomas

Who Owns You?,  Book One

Science Fiction

Date to be Published: October 11th

Set in the early 23rd century, THE STARS RAIN DOWN follows an android woman pursuing a renegade human. At the same time, he searches for his missing wife and child, abducted by alien pirates, and sold into slavery. Special Agent Catherine Mercer, an artificial intelligence and agent of Interplanetary Security (think FBI in space), is given the assignment to pursue and apprehend Rick McCabe, a freighter pilot suspected of illegally smuggling passengers to the free colony of Aranae, some 1300 light years from Earth. Rick, on the other hand, on route to Aranae, was attacked by pirates and separated from his pregnant wife, Sarah, who was captured. But, having come under the suspicion of IPS of illegally transporting passengers, Rick goes rogue and sets off to find Sarah while evading Catherine trying to capture him. Rick and his tech-savvy partner QR follow a trail of clues and tips that lead from one planet to another, from one hostile slave owner and alien race to more pirates and unsavory characters. Along the journey, Catherine learns that being human is more than possessing a flesh and blood body. The transitory body holds an eternal spirit that yearns to be free.

About the Author

Glenn Thomas’s life path has been a meandering one, setting new life goals at various points along the way, gaining skills in art, photography, film-making, driving, and ultimately, writing in screenplays and prose.  As a self-described “high-functioning daydreamer,” Glenn often finds contentment in self-imposed isolation, in conversation with characters only he sees and hears, in universes of his own creation.  Once in a while, he writes them down into scripts and novels to share with the world.

Glenn lives in the Los Angeles area and works as a driver for a major motion picture studio.  His first self-published work was a series of short Science Fiction stories called The Spiderboys of Aranae, which appeared in 2015.

In 1986, when Glenn was convinced he was at the start of a long and prosperous career as a visual artist, an idea for a sci-fi story came to him.  A guy loses his wife to space aliens, and he searches the galaxy to find her.  As a fan of the genre, Glenn sat down with paper and pencil to write the story, and two years later, No Longer Mourn for Me was finished.  It then sat on the shelf, unpublished, for nearly 35 years.  Glenn thought about that crudely executed early work, got ideas to improve it, and sat down at the computer for a rewrite.  The original story was completely gutted, retooled, and reborn with a new title: The Stars Rain Down.

About the Author

My name is Jeanne Ward, I am a mother of three, grandmother of two and a business owner.  Family is everything to me.  Me and my eldest brother married siblings, creating a unique environment of double cousins and a close-knit family.   I live in Brooklyn NY where I own and operate an Early intervention program for young children with autism.  I opened my school in 1998, and I have all 3 of my siblings, had all 3 of my children, my daughters-in-laws, all my nieces and nephew, and my uncle work there at one time or another.  Additionally, I have my brother and brother-in-law who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure the school remains a success.  I am a special educator, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and love what I do for a living.

My eldest are twins.  One lives right outside Asheville North Carolina with his wife and daughter.  He, like me, is a special educator and a BCBA. Although he has a physics degree from NYU, he found a passion working with children with autism after he graduated college and working for me while applying to graduate school.   My other son, my partner in these books has moved back from Nashville Tenn and currently lives in Newburgh NY with his wife and newborn son.  My youngest, Phoenix, will leave for High Point University in North Carolina in a month.   I lost my husband to cancer nearly 6 years ago and I am about to be an empty nester.  It is my sincere hope to spend my days writing Noah Guy stories, running my school and being the best mom and grandma I can be.

About the Author

In the beginning I was a Catholic Italian girl, growing up in a sheltered Italian community and in the end, I had traveled extensively in the United States and Europe.  My education as a nurse with a Bachelor’s and Masters afforded me opportunities to experience many aspects of health care: teaching, administration, sales, and consulting. However, at age 56 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and my long tortuous journey through disease after disease began. During these years I endured much pain, suffering and anxiety. However, I always stayed positive, even joyful and hopeful for the next day. I am now 80 and would like to share my unbelievable survival story with you.
